A revisited tablecloth created in collaboration with Brindos
The fringed Maïa Rouille tablecloth has been revisited in a unique format and design. Unlike the original version created for Brindos, its fine stripes are now arranged horizontally, offering a new visual dynamic.
Our Maïa Rouille fringed tablecloth was designed and made for the Brindos hotel, part of the Millésime group. We took part in the hotel's interior design by offering a large number of made-to-measure textile and furniture creations, in line with the requirements of their artistic director, Marie-Christine Mecoen.
Our Maia Rouille fringed tablecloth was made to upholster armchairs and create bespoke cushion covers for this luxury hotel. Now we've decided to work with it again in a very special and unique format to bring it up to date for the autumn season.
A quality linen and cotton tablecloth
Our Maïa Rouille tablecloth is made from 50% cotton and 50% linen. A subtle blend of noble materials for authenticity and quality, making our tablecloth both highly resistant and very pleasant to the touch.
A Basque-inspired tablecloth with delicate fringes
Our Maia Rouille tablecloth is designed with small fringes that add a vintage touch. They add a bohemian look to your table. This detail is characteristic of the old Basque tablecloths that decorated the convivial tables of yesteryear.
How is our Maia Rouille tablecloth made?
The Maïa Rouille Brindos tablecloth is made in Portugal, in a workshop with which we have worked closely for over ten years. We chose to produce in Portugal, using our Basque weaving methods, to avoid the many round trips involved in French manufacturing, which has a greater carbon impact. What's more, the workshop in Portugal enables us to meet the latest textile hygiene standards and also to treat our products to make them more durable. These treatments prevent the linen from shrinking and also protect it from stains thanks to its Teflon film.
Caring for your Maia Rouille tablecloth
To ensure optimum durability and preserve its softness, we recommend washing in a washing machine at no more than 40 degrees. We strongly advise against tumble-drying.
