The Berrain Fusain placemat is made of elegant charcoal grey stripes. They are woven into this beautiful linen and cotton fabric.
A stain resistant placemat
The Berrain Fusain placemat is treated to be stain resistant, meaning that a film makes it waterproof. This means that you can easily use a sponge to remove the stain you have made in the moment. However, you should not expect this stain to become part of the textile fibre.
A placemat made in Portugal
The Berrain charcoal placemat is made in Portugal in our supplier workshop with whom we have been working for more than 10 years. They are familiar with Basque weaving techniques and allow us to comply with the latest textile hygiene standards and to obtain durable treatments. All the manufacturing steps are done in the same place to avoid increasing our carbon footprint.
How to care for the Berrain Fusain placemat?
Your Berrain Fusain placemat can be machine washed at 30°. We do not recommend dry cleaning.
