Discover the Mendi headboard made in collaboration with local carpenter Little Anana: this brand makes sustainable, eco-friendly furniture and design objects in its workshop in Anglet. Maison Jean-Vier has created a customisable headboard in collaboration with this highly skilled couple to offer a different kind of furniture, made entirely in the Basque Country and infused with current trends.

The Mendi headboard is a blend of our skills, combining textiles and wood, mastery of upholstery and wood craftsmanship. We've combined our skills to create a headboard that's right on trend, with rounded shapes that illustrate the beautiful Basque hills and the sun that hangs over them.

To upholster the Mendi headboard, we chose a hazelnut-coloured vouleur velvet fabric: soft, soothing tones, perfect for a bedroom. Velvet adds a cocooning, intimate touch to decorate your bed. The warmth of this headboard promises a restful night's sleep. The shapes harmonise perfectly with the purity of the smooth wood.
